I was born in 1977, the year Star Wars was released —and spent my youth believing I could become a Jedi if I believed in myself. Today I have a rebel alliance tattoo on my right arm, but sadly cannot levitate anything yet. Still working at it, though!
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and received my BA in Visual Arts & Creative Writing from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA in 2005. Since then I've worked as a graphic designer and a web designer in a variety of contexts, both on salary and on a freelance basis. I'm currently in Albuquerque, N.M.
My Design and programming skills are predominately self-taught. I started out doing basic print and digital graphic design, and soon became interested in Flash, based on some animation work I did in college, which led to incorporating Actionscript & PHP to make the sites data-driven and dynamic. Now I build small websites in HTML5 & CSS3 with PHP/MySQL Content Management Systems tailored to the end-user's needs. And print design for Rock & Rollers.
